NPASD Scholarship Information

Criteria for scholarship:

• Number of scholarships—1 @ $500.00 to be awarded after NPASD FALL Meeting
  
  
• Student definition: Any student enrolled in a SD College NP program completing at least 1/2 of credits required to graduate, with intent to practice in SD.
  
  
• Membership in NPASD will be required and a report is requested at the following annual meeting.  Please mail membership application to the NPASD mailing address listed below -- with your packet IF not already a member.
• 
  
• A post-year report (may be oral or written) is requested at the following annual meeting. This report is of the recipients' choice for format and length and subject matter.

Applications Include:

• Cover Letter with statement of need
• Membership proof OR current membership application (remember students are free)
• Written statement of personal perception for NP role/practice in SD (one double spaced typed page).
• School Statement verifying student status with completion of 1/2 of credits by Sept. 15.

  postmarked before October 1, yearly . There will be no exceptions.
